BONDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida:
Section 1. That thelpity Clerk is directed to give
notice, by publishing in the Miami Daily Metropolis, and
in the Daily Bond Buyer of New York, that sealed bids for
x,80,000 Series D Improvement Bonds will be received by
the City Council until 7 :30 o'clock, P.7. , Dec. 22nd
19 20 .
Section 2. That said notice shall be in substantially
the following, form:

Sealed bids will be received by the City Council ar
dressed to the undersigned and marked "Proposal for Bonds
until 7 :30 o 'clock, P10. Dec 22• '- 20 ,for x80,000
Street Improvement Bonds of the a ity of Miami Beach ,Florida ,
dated September 1, 1920, maturing ;x8,000 annually September
1, 1922 to 1931, principal and interest ( 6%, M and S 1)
payable in gold in New York, denomination ,,;1,000. These
bonds are general obligations of the City and the law re-
quires an unlimited general tax for their payment.
The bonds will be prepared under the supervision of the
United States Liortgage & Trust Company, New York City,. which
will certify as to the genuineness of the signatures of the
officials and the seal impressed thereon. Legality will be
approved by Chester B. Masslich, Esq. , New York City, whose
approving opinion will be furnished the purchaser without
charge.
Bids must be upon printed form to be furnished by the
undersigned or said Trust Company and be accompanied by a
certified check payable to the order of the undersigned for
two ( 2) per cent. of bonds bid for. Bonds will be delivered
at place of purchaser ' s choiceon or about oan. 5, 1921 ..
The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. No bice
under 97 and interest will be entertained.
