our representative , be requested to procure the pass-
age of a bill fixing a boundary lire between

a committee composed of persons appointed by thecoun-
cils of said respective cities, a copy of which re-
port is made a part hereof.

Gentlemen:
The Commission , appointed by the councils in August 1920
for the purpose of establishing a definite boundary line between
the two cities, after a thorough investigation of locations , wishes
to submit and recommend for your approval , the line as now located
in Biscayne Bay and described as follows:
CITY OF IiIAMI BEACH, beginning in Dade County, Florida, at
a roir_t where the line running East and West through the center of
sections twenty-two (22) and twenty-three ( 23) of Township fifty-
three ( 53) , South , Range forty-two (42) East , meets the low water
mark of the Atlantic Ocean; thence in a Southerly direction, meander-

extending from the Atlantic Ocean to the waters of Biscayne Bay,
opposite the City of Miami ) ; thence meandering the low water mark of
the Northern shore of the said Government Cut , to the -Western terminus
thereof; thence due West along a line parallel to the South line of
sections three (3) and four ( 4) of Township fifty-four ( 54) South,
Range forty-two ( 42) East , to a point in Biscayne Bay, 508.85 feet
South and 13,015.6 feet West of the South East Corner of the South
West 1/4 Section 3, Township fifty-four ( 54) South , Range forty-two
(42) East; thence in a North Easterly direction to a roint on the
said line run ing East and lest through the center of saidsections
twenty-two ( 22) and twenty-three (23) of Township fifty-thr.eaw( 53)
South, Range forty-two (42) East and 10 ,249. 6 West of the North East
Corner of the South East 1/4 Section twenty-two ( 22) Township
fifty-three ( 53) , South, Range forty-two (42) East ; thence East along
this said center line to the point of beginning at the low water mark
of the Atlantic Ocean. ( The Western boundary line of the City of
Miami Beach, being in part the Eastern boundary line of the City of
Miami , Florida. ) The above described property embracing the South
half of fractional sections twenty-two ( 22) and twenty-three ( 23) and
all of fractional sections twenty-six ( 26) , twenty-seven ( 27) , twenty-
eight (26 ) , thirty-three (33) and thirty-four ( 34) in Township fifty-
