A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH IN RE-
FERENCE TO BIDS FOR X218,000.00
OF BONDS OF SAID CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That said Council , pursuant to notice that bids
would be received for the bonds hereinafter mentioned, proceeded
at seven-thirty o' clock p. m. October 18, 1922, to open all bids
received for said bonds.
Section 2. That the following bids received be and they are
hereby rejected because they were below par :
The bid of Caldwell & Company
The bid of Shapker & Co. , and
The bid of Steiner Bros.
Section 3. That the following bids were in accordancd with
the advertisement , were above par and were accompanied by a cer-
tified check of the required amount , each of whom bid the amount
peri fi ed below, plus ac.rued interest :
Sidney Spitzer & Co. , Toledo, bid par for $93,000.00
Improvement Bonds, Series E, 370,000.00 Sewage Dis-
posal Plant bonds and •fi55,000.00 for sanitary sewer
bonds.
Spitzer Rorick & Co. and Title Guarantee & Trust
Co. bid $93,220.00 for $93,000.00 of Improvement Bonds ,
Series E, 170,-150.00 for $70,000.00 of Sewage Disposal
Plant Bonds and : 55,250.00 for $55,000.00 of Sanitary
Sewer Bonds.
Bank of Bay Biscayne, Miami, Florida, bid $93,528.45
for '93,000.00 Improvement Bonds, Series E, $70,100.00
for 70,000.00 Sewage Disposal Plant Bonds and $55,100.00
for 355,000.00 of Sanitary Sewer Bonds.
Biscayne Trust Company, Miami, Florida, bid $93,548.45
for $93,000.00 of Improvement Bonds, Series E.
Miami Beach First National Bank, Miami ,Beach, Florida,
bid $93, 912.50 for $93,000.00 Improvement Bonds, Series
E, $71, 505.00 for $70,000.00 of Sewage Disposal Plant
Bonds and $56,405.00 for $55,000.00 of Sanitary Sewer
Bonds.
Section 4. That the bid of the Miami Beach First National
Bank, offering to pay $93, 912.50 for $93,000.00 of Improvement
Bonds, Series E, :71, 505.00 for 00,000.00 of Sewage Disposal
Plant Bonds and 156,405.00 for $55,000.00 of Sanitary Sewer

Bonds and accrued interest on each of said bonds , all dated July
1 , 1922 , advertised to be sold on this day, being the highest and
best bid received for said bonds in conformity with the advertise-
ment and being more than par, be and the sane is heroby accepted,
said bid being in the words and figures following:
