RESOLUTION NO. 351
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
r'LORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINU-
ING EV:",HTS AVENUE, AND ALL OF THE AT,TYYS
• SHOWN IN BLOCKS A AID B, AS SAID AVENUE
AND SAID ALLEYS APPEAR ON A PLT OF FAIR
GREEN, A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 27, TOWN-
SHIP 53 SOUTH OF RANGE 42 EAST, AT MIAN1
S_WH, FLORIDA, ACCORDING TO A PLAT RE-
CORDED IN PLAT BOOK 4, AT PAGE 80 OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, no persons now reside in the aforesaid subdi-
vision known as Pair Green, and,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid alleys and said Evans Avenue have
never been formally accepted or the dedication thereof accepted
by the city of Miami .beach, nor have they been improved in any
way by said city, and.,
WHEREAS, other streets shown on the aforesaid plat will
afford the ample facilities for traffic and for the convenience
of the public should said subdivision become inhabited, and,
WHEREAS , in order to save the expense of paving and main-
taining said Avenue and alleys, and to obviate any lability
for any injury to anyone that might occur therein it their un-
improved condition, it is expedient to close , vacate and dis-
continue saidalleys and said. Evans Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the uity Council of the
City of Miami beach, Plorida:
That Evans Avenue and all of those alleys in Blocks A
and B as said. Avenue and alleys appear or are shown on the plat
of Fair Green, a subdivision in Section. 27 , Township 53 South
of Range 42 cast , at Miami Beach, , 1orida, which plat is re-
corded in Plat Book 4, at Page 80 of the Public Records of
Dade county, Florida, be andthe ssme hre hereby closed, va-
cated, and discontinued as public highways, or as an avenue
and alleys, and the uity of Miami Beach, Florida does hereby
abandon said avenue and alleys.
Section 2: This Resolution shall become and be effective
immediately upon its passage and aTproval and become effective
accordin- to law.
Passed and adopted this 4th dayof April, A. D. , 1923.
