OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF WATER
FURNISHED TO OWNERS AND CONSUMERS BY
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH; REGULATING
THE RATES THE_WFOR; rENAL`TI S FOR
VIOLATION THEREOF; CREATION OF LIENS
FOR PAST DUE AND UNPAID ACCOUNTS; AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 253, AND ALL
OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HERLhIi1H.
BE IT ORDAINED BY ThE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Sub-section 2 of Section "I" of
Ordinance No. 256 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, reading as follows :
"2. 5% Discount will be deducted from all
water and Fire Line Rental bills if paid
within ten (10) days from date of bill.
Water service will be discontinued without
further notice on all accounts not paid
within ten days of date of bill. "
be and the same is hereby amended so as to readas follows :
"2. 5% Discount will be deducted from all 'hater
and Fire Line Rental bills if paid within ten
( 10) days from date of bill and from all Water
and Fire Line Rental bills rendered to the
Army or to any Federal aoency, if paid within
forty-five (45) days from date of bill. water
service will be discontinued without further
notice on all accounts not paid within ten
( 10) days from date of bill except service on
accounts with the Army or any Federal agency
which shall be discontinued without further
notice if not paid within forty-five (45) days
from date of bill. "
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective as of
February 1st, A. D. 1943.

RATES THEREFORE; PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF; CREATION

ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. " , having been passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous places
in the City of ! i -mi Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 4th day of March, A. D. ,
1943 and that said Ordinanc-e remained posted for a period of
at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements
of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
