AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
271 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, DEFINING CERTAIN OFFENSES AND
FIXING THE PENALTIES THEREOF. "
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 271 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding thereto, immediately after Section 59
thereof, an additional section to be known as Section 60,
to read as follows :
"SECTION 60. It shall be unlawful for any
person to cast or throw, or
cause to be cast or thrown, into any of the
gutters, drains or sewers within the City
of Miami Beach, any garbage, trash, tree
or grass cuttings, or other substance cal-
culated to cause any obstruction or nui-
sance to said gutters, drains or sewers. "
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its becoming a law.

that Ordinance No. 692 entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 271 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DEFINING CERTAIN OFFENSES AND
FIXING THE PENALTIES THEREOF, " having been passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been posed by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at
the door of the City Hall in said City on the 21st day
of October, A. D. , 1943, and that said Ordinance remained
posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance
with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
