Ordinance 698 ORDINANCE NO. 698 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 6 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL PAY SCHEDULES FOR ALL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSI- TIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF. MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT; PROVIDING FOR ITS ADMINISTRATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CON- FLICT HEREWITH, " BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1 That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 677 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows: "LIFE GUARD Year of Service Min, 2nd 3rd 4th Max. Classification title Rank $3*.50 41.25 44.00 46.20 48.40 per wk. Life Guard Private 50.60 per wk. Junior Life Guard Lieutenant Lieutenant * • 52.80 per wk. Life Guard Lieutenant Lieutenant * A minimum rate of not less than ten (10) dollars per month for those classifications based on a monthly scale, and of not less than two ( 2) dollars per week for those classifications based on a weekly scale, more than the rate received in the classification from which promotion is made. Increments of increase at the rate of ten (10) dollars per month for those classifications based on a monthly scale, and at the rate of two (2) dollars per week for those classifications based on a weekly scale, after each full year of service, but not to exceed the prescribed maximums. D., 1943, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
