Ordinance 699 ORDINANCE NO. 699
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 KNOWN
AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF MIAMI BEACI,
FLORIDA" AND THE AREA DISTRICT MAPS THERETO
ATTACHED AND MADE A PART THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 289 known as the "Zoning Ordinance
of Miami Beach, Florida" and the area district maps
thereto attached and made a part thereof, be and the same are hereby
amended so as to exclude from area district No. 5, as therein set
forth and defined, and to include in area district No. 29, as therein
set forth and defined, the following described property, situate,
lying and being in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
"Lot Nineteen (19) of Block Two (2) of
Second Ocean Front Subdivision, accord-
ing to the plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 28, at page 28, of the Public Rec-
ords of Dade County, Florida."
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 289, known as the "Zoning Ordinance
of Miami Beach, Florida" and the area district maps
thereto attached and made a part thereof, be and the same are hereby
amended so as to exclude from area district No. 5, as therein set
forth and defined, and to include in area district No. 9, as therein
set forth and defined, the following described property, situate,
lying and being in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
"Lot Twenty (20) of Block Two (2) of
Second Ocean Front Subdivision, accord,
ing to the plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 28, at page 28, of the Public Rec-
ords of Dade County, Florida, said prop-
erty being a portion of Tract Three (3)
of The Bath Club Property, according to
the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
40, at page 14, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida."
SECTION 3, That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of November, A. D. 1943.

the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that
Ordinance No. 699 entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 289 KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA" AND THE AREA DISTRICT MAPS THERETO ATTACHED AND
MADE A PART THEREOF," having been passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, had been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami
Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said
City on the 18th day of November, A. L., 1943, and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, on this the 21st day of December, A. D., 1943.
