LETTER TO COMMISSION
TO: Mayor Philip Levine and Members of the City Commission
DATE: August 3, 2017
SUBJECT: Marjory Stoneman Douglas Park Improvements
The purpose of this L TC is to notify the City Commission that the Parks and Recreation
Department will be temporarily closing the playground at Marjory Stoneman Douglas
Park to perform improvements. The project shall consist of repairing and replacing
existing playground equipment, and the incorporation of engineered mulch.
The project is expected to commence on Monday, August 7, 2017, and should be
completed by August 13, 2017, weather permitting.
