RESOLUTION NO. 446
District SR-16 Sewer Improvement SR-16
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida: '
That the construction of the following described im-
provements is hereby ordered to be made; . the City Council here-
by setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of
the City Charter.
SR-16 A twelve (12) inch terra cotta storm sewer and necessary
manholes and appurtenances in Third Street from Collins
Avenue to Washington Avenue and in Washington Avenue from
Third Street to Second Street ;
A fifteen ( 15) inch terra cotta storm sewer and necessary
manholes and appurtenances in Third Street from Washington
Avenue to :Meridian Avenue;
A twenty-four ( 24) inch terra cotta storm sewer and neces-
sary manholes and appurtenances in Third Street from Meri-
dian Avenue to the west line of Alton Road dnii extended
along a certain easement to Biscayne Bay. �-
As said Drive , Road, Avenues, Streets and alleyways are
shown on plats recorded in Plat Book 2 at Pages 38 and fll,
Public Records of Dade County,Florida, and as said Collins
Avenue, Washington Avenue and Meridian Avenue are named and
designated in Ordinance #110, recorded in Deed Book 297 ,
Page 242 , Public xecor.ds of Dade County, Florida.
Which storm sewer the City Council hereby declares to be
a special benefit to all of the property embraced within the follow-
ing described district:
Beginning at the intersection of Ocean Drive and 2nd
Street, and running westerly along 2nd Street to the west side of
Alton Road to the ort i } 19 , in Block 111, Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, / 11.AYMPT

Records of Dade County, Florida; thence in a southwesterly direc-
tion along the north property line of said Lot 19 to a point 150
feet from the west line of Alton Hoad; thence northwesterly parallel
to Alton Hoad and distant 150 feet westerly therefrom to the north ,
line of Lot 39 in Block 111 in said Ocean Beach Addition No. 3;
thence northeasterly along the northerly line of said Lot 39 to
Alton Road; thence crossing Alton .Road and running along 4th Street
to a point 160 feet east of Lenox Avenue , said point being the center
of an alleyway; thence northerly along said alleyway to the south
line of Lot 2 , in Block 99, in said Ocean Beach Addition #3; thence
easterly along the south line of said Lot 2°° in Block 99 , and Lot 11.
in Block 83, in said Ocean Beach Addition f3, to the. center of an-
other alleyway; thence southerly along said alleyway to 4th Street ;
thence easterly along 4th Street to Ocean Drive ; thence southerly
along Ocean_Drive to 2nd Street to the point of beginning; as said
Drive , Road, Avenues, Streets and alleyways are shown on plats re-
corded in Plat Book 2 at Pages 38 and 81, Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
The Citi;- Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clem:: s and specifications of said improvements
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of Preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimate , the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds and any other expenses
necessarvd proper. This improvement shall be designated in all
proceedings , assessments and bondsatorm Sewer Improvement SR-16,
and the property against which assessments may be made for the cost
thereof hereunder shall be designated as District SR-16.
