District SR-17 Sewer Improvement .SR-17
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida:
That the construction of the following described im-
provements is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council here-
by setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of
the City Charter.
SR-17 A fifteen (15) inch terra cotta storm sewer and neces-
sary manholes and appurtenances in Meridian Avenue from
Eighteenth Street to Collins Canal.
As said Meridian Avenue , Eighteenth Street and Collins
Canal are shown on plat recorded in Plat Book 6 at Page
26, Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
Which storm sewer the City Council hereby declares to be
a special benefit to all of the property embraced within the follow-
ing descried district; . -,

Beginning on the south side of Collins Canal in the center
line of Jefferson Avenue; - thence southerly on Jefferson Avenue to
a point 150 feet north of Lincoln Road; thence parallel with .
Lincoln Road and distant 150 feet northerly therefrom to a poi1t
210 feet east of the east line of Meridian Avenue ; thence northerly
and parallel to Meridian Avenue, and distant 210 feet easterly
therefrom to the Collins Canal ; thence along the Collins Canal
westerly to `Jefferson Avenue , being the point or place of beginning;
as said Avenues, Roads, and Canal are shown and designated on a pia'
recorded in Plat ;gook 6 at Page 26, Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City bigineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvements
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of .ireliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimate, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings , the preparation of bonds and any other expenses
necessary and proper. This improvement shall be designated in all.
proceedings, assessments and bonds as Storm Sewer Improvement SR-17 ,
and the property against which assessments may be made for the cost
thereof hereunder shall be designated �as District SR-17.
