RESOLUTION NO.456.
District H-38. Highway Improvement H-38
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida:
That the construction of the follo ting described improvements
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
SECOND ST E N : To be_,scarified , resurfaced and pave'
to a width of forty :Leet (40' ) with a penetration macadam
pavement and concrete curb and gutter from the east
property line of Washington Avenue to the west property
line of Collins Avenue; as said Second street is shown
on a plat recorded in flat Book 2 at Page 38, Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvements and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimate, the printirg and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds and any other
expenses necessary and proper. This improvement shall be
designated in all proceedings, asses.ments .nd bonds as Highway
Improvement H-38, and the property against which assessments
may be made for the cost thereof hereunder shall be designated
as District H-38 .
Passed and adopted this 19 th day of December,A.D., 1923.
