RESOLUTION NO. 486
District H-49 Highway Improvement H-49
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida:
That the construction of the following described improve-
ments is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
SEVENTH, EIGHTH, NINTH, TENTH, TWELFTH, THIRTEENTH AND
FOURTEENTH STREETS: To be scarified, resurfaced and
paved to a width of thirty-four ( 34) feet from the east
property line of Collins Avenue to the west property
line of Ocean Drive with a penetration macadam pavement
and concrete curb and gutter; as said streets are shown
on plats recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page 56 and Plat
Book 3, at Page 11, Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
and as said Collins Avenue is named and designated in
Ordinance No. 170, recorded in deed Book 297 at Page 242,
Public xecords of Dade County, Florida.
The City Manager is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvements and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimate, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds and any other expenses necessary
and proper. This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,
assessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-49, and the property
against which assessments may be made for the cost thereof hereunder
shall be designated as District H-49.
