OLUTION NO. 491
SANITARY SEWER DISTRSR-1 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR.
REAS, thety Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, on the 16th of January, 1924 , pursuant to a notice
of a meeting under Son 29 of the Charter of said City to
hear all written objons tothe confirmation of the prelimi-
nary assessment rollSanitary Sewer Improvement SR-1, District
SR-1, by any person - e property is described in said prelimi-
nary assessment rollich roll was filed with the City Council
on January 9 , 1924 ,WHEREAS, they Council , having received no written re-
monstrances filed to confirmation of said preliminary assess-
ment roll by any perwhose property is described in said roll,
NOW, THEREFOBE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, rida, that the prima facie assessments as
indicated on said prinary assessment roll be, and the same are ,
in all things confirand sustained against any and all lots or
parcels of ground described therein, except as to the following
described lots, against which said assessment is modified and re-
duced; the amount by which said assessment is hereby reduced being
hereby charged to the City at large, so that the assessment shall
be as follows, it being hereby decided that the special benefits
to said lots because of other sanitary sewer assessments being
made against said lots, are those benefits as stated below, after
such modification and reduction:
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 1, of Ocean Beach
Subdivision, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 2 , at page 38, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is hereby reduced to
$62. 38; because said lot is assessed on its east front and also
on its entire length in this improvement.
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 55, Of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 2, at Page 81 , of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is hereby reduced to
:$62.38: because said lot is assessed, aid preliminary assessment
roll an its east front and for its entire length on the north side
in this improvement.
The assessment against lot 16 of Block 55, of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, according to the plat last aforesaid, is hereby
reduced to 031.19, because said lot is assessed on its west front
in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-4, District SR-4.
The assessment against lot 6; of Block 56, of Oeean Beach
Addition No. 3, according to the last aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to $62.38: because said lot is assessed on both its east
front and its entire length on the south side in this improvement.
The assessment against lot 7 , of Block 56, of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, according to the last aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to 031.19 ; because said lot is assessed on its west front
in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-4, District SR-4.
The assessment against lot 9Fof Block 54, of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3,/according to the last aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to : 31.19, because said lot is assessed in this sanitary
Sewer Improvement on its east side also.
The assessment against Lot 1, of Block 52, of Ocean Beach
Addition . o. 3, according to the last aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to $8.58, because said 11, 1. is assessed for a Sanitary Sewer

The assessment against Lots 10 to 16, inclusive of

reduced to :6;8.58, because said is assessed for a Sanitary Sewer

The assessment against Lots 10 to 16, inclusive of
_ Block 54 of Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the
last aforesaid plat is , hereby reduced to 415. 60 per lot
because said lots are assessed for Sanitary Sewer along the
west frontage of said lots in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-4,
District SR-4.

Subdivision according to a plat recorded in Plat Bookat

The assessment against Lot 5 of Block 49 of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, according to a plat recorded in Plat Book 2
at Page 81 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is
hereby reduced to ;62.38, making the assessment similar to that
placed on all corner lots, it having heretofore been assessed
on the basis of its full depth.

'R RESOLVED that the sums and amounts against

nary assessment roll, and the sums and amounts against each of
' the lots or parcels of ground herein set forth are less than the

amounts each lot or parcel of ground is benefited by said improve-

meet , and that the total cost of said improvement , in the sum of
46,551.88, is hereby approved and confirmed, the proportion of
said cost to be paid by the City of Miami Beach, including the
cost at street intersections, being 42,091.10, exclusive of the chal
hereinbefore made to rhe City at large.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten days after this confirma-
tion of said assessment roll the same be delivered to the city
Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered, thirty days after
the date of this resolution to make collection of the asseEsments
therein as required by law, provided, however, that the owner of
any lot or Da:cel of land which shall have been assessed in ex-
cess of 425.00 may, before the lapse of said thirty days, file
with the City Clerk his written undertaking, ; ,,iving all irregu-
larities and illegality in connection with said assessment against
said lot or parcel and agree to pay the same in equal installments
in each of the five succeeding years, at the times in said years
at which the g neral city taxes are due and payable, with interest
upon said deferred installments at the rate of six per cent. per
annum from date of said confirmation, which said five-year period
is hereby fixed and determined by the City council.
