SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -201 -WG, for
Management and Operation of Artisanal Market at Lummus Park
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -201 -WG, which seeks to establish an agreementwith a qualified firm for
management and operation of an artisanal market at Lummus Park.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Friday, August 11, 2017. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Amy Mehu, Ocean Drive Redevelopment Specialist, Office of the City Manager, City of
Miami Beach
• Charles Million, Chairman, Cultural Affairs Council
• Jonathan Plutzik, Ocean Drive Task Force
• Eva Silverstein, Director, Office of Tourism and Economic Development, City of Miami
Beach
am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Dawn McCall, Cultural Arts Council
Brandi Reddick, Cultural Affairs Program Manager, Office of Tourism and Economic
Development, City of Miami Beach
