MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED; "AN •
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL PAY
SCHEDULES FOR ALL CLASSIFICATIONS OF
POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISION=S OF THE CIVIL
SERVICE ACT; PROVIDING FOR ITS ADMIN-
ISTRATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH. "
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 677 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the compensation for Classifications
of positions in the Classified Service of the City of
Miami Beach, shall be not less than the following pres-
cribed minimums, nor more than the following prescribed
maximums :

* A minimum rate of not less than Eleven and Fifty-five one-hundredths (011.55)
Dollars per month for those classifications based on a monthly scale, and of
not less than Two and Thirty one-hundredths (02.30) Dollars per week for
those classifications based on a weekly scale, more than the rate received
in the classification from which promotion is made. Increments of increase
at the rate of ten ( 10) dollars per month for those classifications based on
a monthly scale, and at the rate of two (2) dollars per leek for those classi-
fications based on a weekly scale, after each full year of service, but not
to exceed the prescribed maximums.

by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in
said City on the 17th day of May, A. D. 1944, and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days
in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach.
