, RESOLUTION NO. 560
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore ordered the
construction of the certain improvements designated as Storm
Sewer Improvements SR-15, SR-16, bR-17 , and 6R-2l, Sanitary
Sewer Improvements SR-18, SR-19, SR-20, and Highway Improve-
ments H-33, H-34, H-35, H-36, H-37 , H-38, H-39, H-40, H-41,
H-42, H-43, H-44 , H-45, H-46, H-47 , H-48, H-49 and H-50, all
of which resolutions ordering said designated improvements
have heretofore been confirmed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk cause
least
to be published at/once in the Miami News-metropolis, a news-
paper of general circulation in the City of Miami Beach and
that he also cause to be posted in three conspicuous places
in said. City, a notice calling for sealed bids to be received
by the City Council at 5:00 o' clock P. M. , on march 21st, 1924,
for the construction of the work contemplated in said several
designated improvements. Said notice shall state the improve-
ment is to be constructed and paid for in cash under Section
29 of the City Charter. Each proposal must be accompanied by a
certified check upon a bank or trust company of Florida in the
amount of 2k per cent. of the amount of the bid, payable to the
City of Miami Beach, to insure the execution of a contract to
carry out the work in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions on file in the office of the City Clerk. Such other
information as may be necessary may be incorporated in said
notice and the right to reject any an all bids is reserved.
