WHEREAS, after advertisement duly made, bids were re-
ceived for 4307 ,000. Public Improvement Bonds and 4327 ,000
Improvement Bonds, Series "H" , of the city of Miami Beach,
and were opened and read and canvassed, and

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida:
Section 1. That the bid of PALM BEACH COMPANY, offering to pur-
chase the afcresaid 0307 ,000 of Public Improvement Bonds and $327 ,000.
ofImprovenient Bonds, Series H, which bid is in the following words
and figures:-

For 4100,000 Water Works Extension Bonds of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, described in the attachednotice of sale, which
is hereby made a part of this bid , we will. pay 4101,100.00. . . .Dollars.
For 014,000 Bridge Bonds of the City of Miami Beach, rlo-
rida, described in the attached notice of sale , we will pay 414,1.54.00
Dollars.
For $50,000 Sanitary Sewer Bonds of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, described in the attached notice of sale, we will pay $50,550.01
Dollars.
For $20,000 Storm Sewer Bonds of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, described in the attached notice of sale, we will pay .420,220.0(
Dollars.
For 440,000 Fire Department Building and Equipment Bonds
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, described in the attached notice
of sale, we will pay 440,440.00 Dollars.
For 425 ,000 Public Park Improvement Bonds of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, described in the attached notice of sale, we
will pay •25,275.00 Dollars.
For 418,000 Water day Bulkhead Improvement Bonds of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, described in the attached notice of
sale, we will pay 418,198.00 Dollars.
For 440,000 Street Paving Bonds of the city of Miami Beach,
Florida, described in the attached notice of sale, we will pay. . . .

For $327,000 Improvement Bonds, Series h, for improving
streets and sidewalks and constructing storm and sanitary sewers of
the City of Miami Beach, .lorida, described in the attached notice
of sale we will pay 4 4329,350.00 Dollars.
In addition thereto we will pay accrued interest to the
date of delivery and will. accept delivery at Hanover Nati. Bank at
New York at the time stated in said notice of sale.
We enclose herewith certified check for $12,794..54. . . . . .
Dollars, being two per cent. of the par value of bonds bid for, pay-
able to the order of the city of Miami Beach, Florida, which en-
closure is to be returned to the undersigned if this bid be not
accepted, otherwise it is to be deposited by said City, and when
the bonds are delivered and paid for under the terms of this bid,
to be considered as an advance part payment therefor, or it is to
be retained by said City as and for liquidated damages in case the
undersigned fails to take up and pay for said bonds in accord here-
with.

No addition or alteration is to be made to this proposal,
except that the bidder may draw a pen through the words "This bid
is for all or none of the bonds bid for. "
being the highest and best bid received for said bonds, in conformity
with said advertisements and being more than par, be and the same is
hereby accepted.
Section 2. That all other bids hereinbefore stated be and
the same are hereby rejected and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to return the checks of the unsuccessful bidders.
Section 3. That this resolution be effective immediately
upon its passage.
