District 3TS-25 Sewer Improvennnt SR-25.
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida :
That the construction of the following. described improve-
ments is hereby ordered to be made ; the dity Council hereby
setting forth its intention to proceed under section 29 of
the City Charter.
SR-25. A fifteen (15 ) inch terra cotta Sanitary Sewer and
necessary manholes and appurtenances :
In Alton Road from Fifth Street to Eleventh Street;
In an alleyway between Meridian Avenue and Euclid
Avenue, from Twelfth Street to Fourteenth Place ;
In Fourteenth Place from an alleyway between Meridian
Avenue and Euclid Avenue to Meridian Avenue ;
In Meridian Avenue, from Fourteenth Place to Fifteenth
Street ;
In an alleyway between West Avenue and Alton Road from
Fifteenth Street to Seventeenth Street ;
In an alleyway between Alton Road. and Lenox Avenue
from Fifteenth Street northerly to a point 160 feet
south of Lincoln Road;
In an alleyway parallel to Lincoln Road and 160 feet
southerly therefrom, from a point 160 feet east of
Alton Road, to Lenox Avenue ;
In Nineteenth Street from James Street to Liberty
Avenue ;
In Liberty Avenue from Nineteenth Street to Twenty-
third Street;
In Twenty-third Street from Liberty Avenue to Collins
Avenue ;
In Fifteenth Street from Alton Road to an alleyway
160 feet west of Alton Road;
all as said Streets , Avenues, Roads, alleyways and Place are
shovaz on plats recorded in Pl .t Book 2 at Page 81,Plat Book 9 a'
Pages 69 and 70 , Plot Book 6 at Pages 5 and 30, and Plot Book 5 at
Pages 7 and 8 , of the Public Records of Dade Cou n.ty,
Florida, and as said various avenues are named and
designated in Ordinance 1170, recorded in Deed Book
297, Page 242, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida .
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specification of said improve-
ments aril an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate
of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendelce of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimate, the printing and publica-
tion of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds and
any other expenses necessary and pro_oer. This improvement shall
be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as
Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-25 , and the property against which
assessments may be made for the cost thereof hereunder shall be
designated as District SR-25.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of March, A.D. 1924.
