RESOLUTION NO. 604.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY "
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CLOSING A CERTAIN
ALLEY AND A PORTION OF MERIDIAN AVENUE - A t
STREET WITHIN SAID CITY.

Section 1. Whereas, that certain twenty foot (20 ' ) alley
lying immediately north of Block 13, as shown on a plat re- rel
corded in Plat Book 4 at Page 121 , and as it is also shown
on a plat of Island View Subdivision recorded in Plat Book
6 at Page 115 , all of the Public Records of Dade County, "
Florida, is no longer needed as an alley and has never been
improved and used as such;
And Whereas, that part of North Meridian Avenue lying
south of the north line of Section 34, in Township 53 South,
of Range 42 East, in Dade County, Florida, and shown on a
plat recorded in Plat Book 4 at Page 200 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, is no longer needed as a
street, - another street having been dedicated by the owners
of property through which it runs, to connect said North
Meridian Avenue lying north of said north line of said Sec-
tion 34 more directly with streets lying south thereof:
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the aforesaid twenty foot (20' ) alley and the afore-
said portion of North Meridian Avenue, as shown on the afore-
said plats, being no longer needed as public highways or
streets, they and each of them are hereby vacated, closed,
and discontinued.
Section 2. That the title to the land in said alley and said
North Meridian Avenue shall revert to the dedicator who
dedicated the same, or in accord with the terms of the
dedication when the same were first dedicated; and that
said alley and said North Meridian Avenue are hereby de-
clared to be freed from any easement existing in behalf of
said City or of the public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of April, A. D. 1924.
