SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2017 -238 -KB, for
Computer Visualization Services for Transportation and Engineering Projects.
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2017 -238 -KB, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firms) to
provide computer visualization services that will assist in illustrating to the stakeholders what transportation
and engineering projects will look like when they are built.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFQ on July 26, 2017. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee, in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• James Murphy, Chief of Urban Planning, Planning and Zoning Department, City of Miami Beach
• Frank Quintana, IT Support Division Director, Information Technology Department, City of Miami
Beach
• Neal Schafers, Manager, Planning, Urban Design & Transportation Department, Miami
Downtown Development Authority
• Thais Vieira, Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, Office of the City Manager, City of Miami Beach
• Lynda Westin, Transportation Manager, Transportation Department, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Dean Chambers, Visual Communications Manager, Communications Department, City of Miami
Beach
• Josiel Ferrer, Transportation Manager, Transportation Department, City of Miami Beach
