SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative # Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -293 -KB, for
Emergency Shelter Beds to Serve Homeless Population
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -293 -KB, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s)
for emergency shelter beds to serve homeless population.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Friday, August 18, 2017. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Lori Bakkum, Member, Committee on the Homeless, City of Miami Beach
• Cristina Cabrera, Parent -Child Program Coordinator, City of Miami Beach
• Nancy Grant, Homeless Program Coordinator, City of Miami Beach
• Ken Stenicky, Chair, Miami Beach Service Partnership
• Alba Tarre, Assistant Department Director, Housing and Community Services Department,
City of Miami Beach
am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Gabriela Manon, Program Coordinator, All Stars Program
• Maria Ruiz, Department Director, Housing & Community Services Department, City of Miami
Beach
