RESOLUTION NO. 652
SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT SR-10 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, met on the 28th day of May, 1924, pursuant to a notice
of a meeting under Section 29 of the Charter of said City to
hear all written objections to the confirmation of the prelimi-
nary assessment roll of Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-10, Dis-
trict SR-10, by any person whose property is described in said
preliminary assessment roll, which roll was filed with said
City Council on May 7th, 1924, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, having received no written re-
monstrances filed to the confirmation of said preliminary assess-
ment roll by any person whose property is described in said roll,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the prima facie assessments as in-
dicated on said preliminary assessment roll be, and the same are
in all things confirmed and sustained against any and all lots
or parcels of ground described therein except as to the following
described lots against which said assessment is modified and re-
duced, the amount by which said assessment is hereby reduced be-
ing hereby charged to the City at large, so that the assessment
shall be as follows, it being hereby decided that the special bene-
fits to said lots , because of other sanitary sewer assessments be-
ing made against said lots, are those benefits as stated below,
after such modification and reduction:
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 117 as per the amended
Plat of the Resubdivision of Blocks llrl-117A-116-118A recorded
in Plat Book 9 at Page 70 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, is hereby reduced to 470.21, said lot being assessed
for its full length and its full width on said preliminary as-
sessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 6 of Block 117A, as per the
aforesaid plat , is hereby reduced to 470.21, said lot being
assessed for its full length on said preliminary assessment
roll.
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 40 in Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page
81 of the Public liecords of Dade County, Florida, is hereby
reduced to 470.21, said lot being assessed for its full length
and its full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 8 of Block 41 in said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is here-
by eliminated, said lot being assessed for its full width on
said preliminary assessment roll and also for its full length
on Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-8, District SR-8.
The assessment against Lot 9 of Block 41 in said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat, is here-
los by reduced to 470.21, said lot„_,being assessed for its fu7sl *

The assessment against Lot 12 of Block 42 in said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat, is
hereby reduced to $70.21, said lot being assessed for its full
length on waid preliminary assessment roll and also for its
full width la Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-8, District SR-8.
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 63 in said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to $70.21 , said lot being assessed for its full
length and its full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 7 of Block 63 in said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat, is here-
by eliminated, said lot being assessed for its full width on
said preliminary assessment roll and also for its full length
in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-6, District SR-6.
The assessment against Lot 8 of Block 64 in said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat, is here-
by reduced to $70.21, said lot being assessed for its full length
on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 5 of Block 74 in Lincoln Sub-
division as per plat recorded in Plat Book 9 at Page 69 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is hereby reduced to
; 35.10, said lot being assessed for its full length on said
preliminary assessment roll and also for its full width in
Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-9, District SR-9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sums aiaci,Allois assessed
against each of the lots or parcels of ground in said prelimi-
nary assessment roll, and the sums and amounts against each of
the lots or parcels of ground. herein set forth are less than
the amount that each of said lots or parcels of ground is bene-
fited by said improvement and that the total cost of said improve-
ment , in the sum of $20,473.15, is hereby approved and confirmed,
the proportion of said cost to be paid by the City of Miami
Beach, including the cost at street intersections being 415,770. 91 ,
exclusive of the charge heretofore made to the City at large.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten days after this confirma-
tion of said assessment roll the same be delivered to the City
Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered, thirty days after
the date of this resolution to make collection of the assessments
therein, as rexe ,by law, provided however, that the owner of
any lot or par 1 ��u ch shall have been assessed in excess of
425.00, may before the lapse of said thirty days file with the
City Clerk his written undertaking waiving all irregularity and
illegality in connection with said assessment against said lot
or parcel and agreeing to pay the same in equal installments in
each of the five succeeding years at the times in said years at
which the general City taxes are due and payable, with interest
upon said. deferred installments at the rate of 6o per annum, from

date of �nfirmation, which said five-year period is hereby fixed
and determined by said City Council.
