BE IT hESOLVED BY THE CITY UODUCIL 0.e THE CITY Or MIAMI
BEACH, in regular session assembled_ on this, the 17th day of
December, A. .U. , 1924: /11
That whereas , henry Lely, Trustee and owner and holder
of the properties known as ivormandy Peach, South and isle of
Normandy, all in the city of Miami Beach, . lorid.a, desires to
erect a certain bridge of the type hereinafter descrited at
the site hereinafter specified; and
Whereas, this city 'ouncil after due consideration there-
of feels it to be to the best interest of said uity, the county
and state, that such bridge be built and that the said uity
council should_ assist in obtaining the necessary permission
from the United States u-overnment for the erection of such •
bridge.
And it is further resolved that the said henry Levy,
Trustee, be, and the same is hereby designatedand appointed
as agent of the said uity uouncil in the 'sounty of Lade and
the State of r-lorida, for the purpose and with full power and
authority to represent the said uity uouncil in its name and
stead in making application to the united states uovernment
for permission for the construction and erection of said bridge,
and in all negotitations pertaining thereto the said bridge to
be of the type and to be located at the site more particularly
describedas follows:
The type of bridge to be in accordance with the plan at-
tached to this resolution and hereby made a part hereof, the
said plan showing the general plan of construction and location;
The bridge to be commenced on the easterly side of the waterway
one hundred fifty ( 150) feet wide extending north from Indian
Creek and between iuormandy beach, south and isle of Normandy, `a

the bridge to extend in a westerly direction across the said-

waterway, the said location of the bridge being upon the
property of henry Levy, 'trustee and the principal opening
or span of the bridge shall have a clearance of twelve
( 12) feet above mean low water.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be
signed by the President of the city council and by the city
Clerk and duly recorded in the minutes of this meeting and
that a copy hereof, duly certified by the city Clerk, and
having annexed hereto as a part thereof, a copy of the said
plan, be delivered to the said rlenry Levy, Trustee.
