RESOLUTION NO. 780
District SR-48 Sewer Improvement SR-48
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida:
That the construction of the following described im-
provement is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council here-
by setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29, of
the City Charter.
SR-48 An eight (8'1 inch Concrete Sanitary Sewer and necess-
ary manholes, appurtenances and House Connectidns:
In Alton Road from the intersection of the center-line
of Fifth Street with the center-line of said Alton
Road, to a point one hundred fifty (150' ) feet South
from said intersection and eleven (11' ) feet Northeast
of Southwest line of Alton Road.
In Alton Road from said point eleven (11' ) feet North-
East of Southwest line of Alton Road to a point sixty
three and six-tenths ( 63.6' ) feet Southeast of South
line of First Street;
In First Street thirty-four (34') feet South from the
North line, from a point sixty-nine and six-tenths
( 69.6) feet Southwest from the Northeast line of Alton
Road, to a point eleven (11' ) feet Northeast from South-
West line of Alton Road.
In the center-line of Michigan Avenue, from a point
twenty-five (25') feet North of the North line of Second
Street to a point one hundred (100' ) feet South of the
center-line of said Second Street'
In the center-line of Jefferson Avenue, from the center-
line of Second Street to a point two hundred and fifty
(250') feet South of the center-line of said Second
Street;
In Washington Avenue eleven (11' ) feet East of the West
property line, from a point two (2') feet South of the
center-line of Second Street to a point two hundred and
fifty-seven (257 ' ) feet South of the center-line of said
Second Street;
In the center-line of Fourth Street, from the center-line
of Euclid Avenue to a point one hundred and ten (110')
feet East of center-line of said Euclid Avenue ;
In the center-line of Lenox Avenue, from a point twenty-
five (25' ) feet idorth of the North line of Fourth Street
to a point three hundred twenty-five (325' ) feet South
of the South property line of said Fourth Street;

In the center-line of Alley between Washington and Collins
Avenues, from the center-line of Sixth Street to a point
two hundred eighty-three (283' ) feet South of said center-
line of Sixth Street;
In the center-line of Sixth Street, from the center-line
of Alley between Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive to a
point seventeen (17' ) feet West of the center-line of
said Ocean Drive;
In Ocean Drive, seventeen (17' ) feet West of the center-
line, from the center-line of Sixth Street to a point two
hundred and sixty-three (263' ) feet Southerly of the
center-line of Sixth Street ;
In Washington Avenue eleven (11' ) feet East of the West
line from the center-line of Eighth Street to a point
four hundred and ten (410' ) feet North of the center-line
of NinthStreet ;
As said Road, Streets, Alley and Avenues are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 81, Plat Book #3,
Page 11 and Plat Book +4, Page 83, and as said Avenues
are named and designated in Ordinance #170, recorded in
Deed Book #297, Page 242, all of Public Records of Dade �k
County, Florida,
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to
file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improve-
ments and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of
the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimate, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds and any ibther
expenses necessary and proper. This improvement shall be designated
in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Im-
provement SR-48, and the property against which assessments may be
made for the cost thereof hereunder shall be designated as District SR-4:
PASSED AND ADOPTED this Fourth day of February A.D. 1925
