AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 677 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL PAY
SCHEDULES FOR ALL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS
IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT; PROVIDING FOR ITS AD-
MINISTRATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH" ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 677 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the compensation for Classifications
of positions in the Classified Service of
the City of Miami Beach, shall be not less

* A minimum rate of not less than Twelve and Seventy one-hundredths ($12.70)
Dollars per month for those classifications based on a monthly scale, and
of not less than Two and Fifty-three one-hundredths ($2.53) Dollars per
week for those classifications based on a weekly scale, more than the rate
received in the classification from which promotion is made. Increments of
increase at the rate of ten ($10.00) Dollars per month for those classific-
ations based on a monthly scale, and at the rate of two ($2.00) Dollars per
week for those classifications based on a weekly scale, after each full
year of service, but not to exceed the prescribed maximums.
