AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EN-
TITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A
SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE
RATES THEREOF".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 678 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"SECTION 1: That a schedule of rates of salaries for the
Administrative Officers of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
be and the same is hereby established as follows:
A. CITY ENGINEER Salary per month $ 695.00
B. CITY CLERK Salary per month 720.00
C. SHOP AND WATER SUPERINTENDENT Salary per month 504.00
D. POLICE CHIEF Salary per month 614.00
E. FIRE CHIEF Salary per month 478.70
F. TAX ASSESSOR Salary per month 469.90
G. CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR Salary per month 469.90
H. GENERAL RECREATION OFFICER Salary per month 449.50
I. BEACH PATROL CAPTAIN Salary per month 469.90

"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE CF THE CITY OF MIATI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE AD-
MINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING
THE RATES THEREOF" , having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, 'Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, one of
which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 2nd day of
October, A. D. , 1946, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a
period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of
the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on this the 4th
day of November, A. D. , 1946.
