AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, RUIRING NECESSARY CHANGES IN
THE WIRES AND OTHER APPURTENANCES IN OR-
DER TO RECEIVE ELECTRICAL SERVICE BY MEANS
OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COTTNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
SECTION 1: That whenever the utility, hereinafter called
the Company, supplying electric service in
the City of Miami Beach, is authorized by the
City to remove any of its existing overheadelectric dis-
tribution facilities and supply electric service by means
of underground facilities to any individual, firm, or cor-
poration, hereinafter called the Customer, owning, operating,
leasing, or renting any building or structure being served,
the Company shall give written notice to each such Customer
at the address of the location of each point of delivery at
least sixty days in advance of the date of completion of
such removal, and each such Customer so notified shall, on
or before the completion of such removal, make, at his ex-
rense, such changes as may be necessary in the wires and
other appurtenances on his premises, in order to receive
service from the new location of the Company' s electric dis-
tribution facilities in accordance with the Company' s Ser-
vice and Meter Rules and Regulations on file with the City
of Miami Beach, and in the event of failure on the part
of such Customer to make such changes within said period
the Company is hereby authorized to disconnect and remove
all overhead electrical service wires or conductors sup-
, plying such electrical service to such Customer.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

QUIRING NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE WIRES AND OTHER APPURTENANCES IN
ORDER TO RECEIVE ELECTRICAL SERVICE BY MEANS OF UNDERGROUND
FACILITIES" , having been passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of
November, A. D. , 1946, and that said Ordinance remained posted for
a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements
of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida on
this the 21st day of December, Q. D. , 1946.
