ORDINANCE NO. 7S7
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5 AND 6 OF ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 497 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, CLASSIFYING, REGULATING AND/OR
PROHIBITING CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID CITY AND FIX-
ING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 497 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 5. The "Restricted Noises" set forth in
Section 3 of this ordinance are hereby prohibited
at any location and at any hour on Sundays and the
hours on week days during which said "Restricted
Noises" of the various classifications, regardless
of location, are hereby prohibited, are as follows:
Group "A" Group "B" Group "C"
During period 1 from 5:30 PM 5:30 PM 5:30 PM
to 9:00 AM 9:00 AM 9:00 AM
During period 2 from 6:00 PM 11:00 PM 11:00 PM
to 7:00 AM 7:00 AM 7:00 AM"
SECTION 2. That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 497 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"SECTION 6. The "Restricted Noises" included in
Groups "A" and "B", as set forth in Section 3 of
this ordinance, are hereby prohibited, within fifty
(50) feet of the nearest point of any building occu-
pied as a hotel or apartment as defined in Ordinance
No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, at all
hours during the period of time referred to and
described in Section 4 of this ordinance as Period
No. 1."
SECTION That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CLASSIFYING, REGULATING AND/OR PRO-
HIBITING CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID CITY AND FIXING PENALTIES FOR VIO-
LATION THEREOF", having been passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places In the City of Miami Beach, Florida, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 4th day of
December, A. D. , 1946, and that said Ordinance remained posted for
a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements
of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
