RESOLUTION NO. 808
DISTRICT SR-58 SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-58
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described im-
provement is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council
hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Section
29 of the City Charter.
SR-58 A fifteen ( 15) inch Concrete Storm Sewer
and necessary manholes and appurtenances:
In Sixteenth Street tweyity-five ( 25 ) feet
North of the South line thereof, from a
point twenty-five ( 25) feet East of the
West line of Michigan Avenue to a point
twenty-five ( 25) feet East of the West
line of Lenox Avenue, as said Street and
Avenues are shown on a plat recorded in
Plat Book No . 9, Page 69, of the Public
Records of dade County, Florida.
which Storm Sewer the City Council declares to be a
special benefit to all of the property embraced within the
following described district:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
an alley between Lincoln noad and 16th Street with the center
line of Jefferson Avenue, and run South along the said center
line of Jefferson Avenue to the center line of fifteenth Street ;
thence Westerly along the said center line of Fifteenth Street
to a point one hundred and sixty feet ,lest of the :Nest line of
Michigan Avenue ; thence Northerly along a line one hundred and
sixty feet West of the West line of said Michigan Avenue and
parallel thereto to the center line of an alley between Lincoln
Road and 16th Street ; thence Easterly along said center line
to the point of beginning; as said Avenues , Streets and Alley-
way are shown on a plat recorded in Plat .Book Ido. 9, _Vase 69,
of the rublic .records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to
file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said im-
provement, and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an
estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the
preparation of plans and specifications and estimate, •the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the pre-
paration of bonds and any other expenses nexessary and proper.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, as-
sessments and bonds as Storm Sewer Improvement SR-58, and the
property against which assessments may be made for the cost
thereof hereunder shall be designated as District SR-58.
