RESOLUTION NO. 809
DISTRICT SR-59 SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-59
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described im-
provement is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council
hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Section
29 of the City Charter.
•
SR-59 A thirty ( 30) inch Concrete Storm Sewer, and
necessary manholes and appurtenances :
In James street twenty-five ( 25 ) feet East
of the West line of said Street, from a point
twenty-five ( 25) feet South of the North line
of Seventeenth Street to a point ten ( 10)
feet North of the South line of Nineteenth
Street,
In nineteenth Street ten ( 10) feet North of
the South line of said' Street, from a point
twenty-five (25) feet East of the West line
of James Street to a point fifteen ( 15 ) feet
East of the 'West line of Washington Avenue ;
In Washington Avenue fifteen ( 15) feet East
of the West line of said Avenue from a point
ten (10) feet North of the South line of Nine-
teenth Street to Collins Canal, as said Streets ,
Avenue and Canal are shown on Plats recorded in
:Plat Book No. 2, Page 77, and in Plat book No.
6, Page 102, and as said Seventeenth Street and
Washington avenue are named and designated in
Ordinance No. 170, recorded in Deed Book No.
297, Page 242, all of the Public Records of Dade
County, Vlorida.

Which Storm Sewer the City Council declares to be a
special benefit to all of the property embraced within the
following described district :
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Twenty-first Street, with the East line, produced, of Block
A, Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach Improvement Company,
and running Southerly along the East line of said Block A to
the Southeast corner of said block; thence Southerly to the
Northeast corner of Block B of said Ocean Front pro-oerty; thence
Southerly along the East line of block B of said Ocean front
Property and the East lines of Blocks 1, 28 and 29 of Fisher's
First Subdivisith., and the East line of said Block 29, produced
to its intersection with the center line of Lincoln Road; thence
Westerly along the center line of said Lincoln -toad to a point
forty-five (45) feet West of the East line of Washington Avenue ;
thence Northerly parallel with the.West line of said washin;ton
Avenue to its intersection with the northwest line produced , of
Block J, Ocean front Property of the Miami Beach improveiaent
Company; thence northeasterly along the Northwest line of said
Block J, to its intersection with a line two hundred ( 200) feet
Northeast of the north line of Twenty-first Street, and parallel
thereto ; thence Southeasterly along said line parallel to Twenty-
first Street to its intersection with a line one hundred and
thirty-five ( 135) feet Southeast of the East line of Sheridan
Avenue and parallel thereto; thence Southwesterly along
said line parallel to Sheridan _venue to its intersec-
tion with the center line of Wwenty-first Street ; thence
Southeasterly along the center line of Twenty-first
Street to the point of beginning, as said Streets, ioad
and Avenues are shown on Plats recorded in plat nook
No. 2, page 77, Plat book ido. 5, rage 7 and Plat nook
No . 6 , page 102 and as said Twenty-first Street and Wash-
ington Avenue are named and designated in Ordinance No.
170, recorded in Deed nook ivo. 297, Page 242, all of the
Public .tecords of Dade County, r'lorida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and
to file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of
said improvement, and an estimate of the cost thereof, in-
cluding an estimate of the cost of the expenses of prelimi-
nary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendem e
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimate, the printing and publication of not ices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds and any other expenses
necessary and ---roper. This improvement shall be designated
in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as Storm Sewer
improvement SR-59, and the property against which assess-
ments may be made for the cost thereof hereunder shall be
designated as District Sid-59.
