AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY
KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
and the maps attachedthereto and made a part thereof, be
and the same are hereby amended so as to include in "RE" Multiple Family
District and in Area District Ho. 15, as said Districts are in said
ordinance set forth and defined, the following described lands situate,
lying and being in Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Block 1;
Lots 1 to 10, inclusive, of Block 28;
Lots 4 to 10, inclusive, of Block 29;
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Block 55;
Lots 1 to 10, inclusive, of Block 56;
All in FISHER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION of
Alton Beach, according to the Plat there-
of, recorded in Plat Book 2, at page 77,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
AND
All the lands lying between the Easterly
line of said lots and the bulkhead line of
the Atlantic Ocean;
AND
The land bounded on the Jest by the Easterly
line of said. Block One (1) produced Southerly;
on the North by the Northerly line of 18th
Street produced Easterly; on the East by the
bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean; on the
South by the Southerly line of 18th Street
produced Easterly;
AND
The land bounded on the West by the Easterly
line of said Block Twenty-eight (28) produced
Southerly; on the North by the Northerly line
of 17th Street produced Easterly; on the ,East
by the bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean;
on the South by the Southerly line of 17th
Street produced Easterly;
AND
The land bounded on the vilest by the Easterly
line of said. Block Fifty-five (55) produced
Southerly; on the North by the Northerly line
of 16th Street produced Easterly; on the East
by the bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean; on
the South by the Southerly line of 16th Street
produced Easterly.
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of I'iami Beach, Florida,
and the maps attached thereto and made a part thereof, be
and the same are hereby amended so as to include in "BAA" Business
District and in Area District No. 19, as said Districts are in said

ordinance set forth and defined, the following described lands situate,
lying and being in Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 29; and
Lots 7, 8 and 9 of Block 55, all in
FISHER 'S FIRST SUBDIVISION of Alton
Beach, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 2, at page 77, of
the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
AND
All the lands lying between the Easterly line
of said lots and the bulkhead line of the At-
lantic Ocean;
AND
The land bounded on the West by the Easterly
line of said Block Twenty-nine (29) produced
Southerly; on the North by the Northerly
line of Lincoln Road produced Easterly; on
the East by the bulkhead line of the Atlantic
Ocean; on the South by the Southerly line of
Lincoln Road produced Easterly.
SECTION 21: The term "the bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean" as
used in this ordinance shall mean the line described as
follows:
Beginning at a point which is on the southerly line pro-
duced easterly of Lot 4, Harrison and Hayes Subdivision,
as per Plat recorded in Plat Book 9, page 73, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and 228 feet
easterly of the easterly line of Ocean Drive; thence run
in a northerly direction to a point on the northerly line
produced easterly of Lot 9, Block 56, of FISHER'S FIRST
SUBDIVISION of Alton Beach, as per Plat recorded in Plat
Book 2, page 77, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and 100 feet easterly of the easterly line of
said Block 56; thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the southerly line produced easterly of Lot 1,
Block 28, of said FISHER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION of Alton
Beach and 100 feet easterly of the easterly line of said
Block 28; thence run in a northerly direction to a point
on the southerly line produced easterly of Lot 1, Block 1,
of said FISHER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION of Alton Beach and 129
feet easterly of the easterly line of said Block 1; thence
run in a northerly direction to a point on the southerly
line of 22nd Street produced easterly as said Street is
named and designated in City of Miami Beach Ordinance No.
232, and 461 feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins
Avenue as said Collins Avenue is shown on the Amended Map
of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach Improvement
Company recorded in Plat Book 5, pages 7 and 8, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION : That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA", having been passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, one of which .was at the door of the City Hall in said City
on the 20th day of August, A. D. , 1947, and that said Ordinance re-
mained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance
with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami
Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
