AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678 OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES
TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING
THE RATES THEREOF."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 678
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as
follows:

That Ordinance No. 678 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
a new section thereto, to be designated Section 1*,
follows:
"SECTION ij: All appointive and elective officers
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
except City Councilmen, shall be allewed annual
vacation leave with pay for periods to be determined
as follows:
Officers with lecs than ten (10) years creditable
service One half month.
Officers with more than ten (10) years and not
more than twenty (20) years creditable service
Three weeks.
Officers with more than twenty (20) years
creditable service One month.
The term "creditable service" as used herein
shall be determined by the amount of creditable
service accrued and credited to the officer
employee under the terms of the Pension System
to which such officer belongs."
SECTION _3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
