AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678 OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF TEE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE
. OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE
RATES THEREOF".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No, 678 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That a schedule of rates of salaries for the Admini-
strative Officers of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and
the same is hereby established as follows:
A. CITY ENGINEER Salary per month $765.00
B. CITY CLERK Salary per month 792.00
C. SHOP AND WATER SUPERINTENDENT Salary per month 555.00
D. POLICE CHIEF Salary per month 676.00
E. FIRE CHIEF Salary per month 527.00
F. TAX ASSESSOR Salary per month 517.00
G. CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR Salary per month 517.00
H. GENERAL RECREATION OFFICER Salary per month 495.00
I. BEACH PATROL CAPTAIN Salary per month 517.00
J. MUNICIPAL JUDGE Salary per month 517.00
K. ASSOCIATE MUNICIPAL JUDGE Salary per month 133.00
L. GOLF COURSE MANAGER Salary per month 405.00

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
3rd day of December, A. D. , 1947, and that said Ordinance re-
mained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accord-
ance with the requirements of the City Charter of the City
of Miami Beach.
