Ordinance 875ORDINANCE N0. 875 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 394 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, IMPOSING LICENSES AND OTHER TAXES ON PRIVILEGES, BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS AND PROFESSIONS CARRIED ON AND ENGAGED IN WITHIN SAID CITY, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE EXERCISING OF SUCH PRIVILEGES OR CARRYING ON SUCH BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS OR PROFESSIONS, WITHOUT A LICENSE OR OTtIR FAI- LURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS THEREOF." BE If ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tri, CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 5 of Ordinance No. 394 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows: "DOG OR OTHER "TRAINED ANIMAL XHIBITION, each day . . . 77.65" be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "DOG RACING, or TRAINED ANIMAL EXHIBITION, each day q.,;50.00" SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage and posting as required by law. 191+9. D. 1949, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
