Ordinance 904 ORDIN4NCE NO. 904 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PROHIBITING PUBLIC PARADES OR MARCHES UPON THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, UNLESS PROVISION IS MADE FOR FIRST AID UNITS FOR EMERGENCY USE DURING SUCH PARADES OR MARCHES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for any organization, associa- tion or corporation to conduct or effectuate any organized public parade or any organized public march upon the public streets or highways of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, unless such organization, association or corporation shall have provided, or caused to be present at an advertised specific 4.ocation or locations along the line of such parade or march an adequate first aid unit or first aid units manned by competent personnel and available for emergency use by the persons partici- pating in said: parade or march or by the public attending and viewing such parade or march. SECTION 2: Any organization, association or corporation, or any person acting as agent of any organization, associa- tion or corporation in the conduct or management of any parade or march described in Section 1 hereof, who shall vio- late the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred (4500.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by both such fine andimprisonment in the discretion of the munici- pal judge. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall co into effect immediately upon its passage and posting as required by law. PASSED and ADOPTS this 19th day of October, A. D. 1949. TOMLINSON, City Clerk in and for the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 904, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PROHIBITING PUBLIC PARADES OR MARCHES UPON THE STREETS AND HIGH- WAYS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, UNLESS PROVISION IS MADE FOR FIRST AID UNITS FOR EMERGENCY USE DURING SUCH PARADES OR MARCHES", having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said. City on the 20th day of October, A. D. 1949, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the require- ments of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
