AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
OF THE CITY OF MIA'iI BEACH, FLORIDA, COM-
MONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA" .
BE IT ORDAINu,I) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so
as to include in "Cabana and Swimming-pool District" and in Area
District No. 1, as said districts are set forth and defined in
said Ordinance, the following lands situate in Miami Beach, Dade
County, Florida, to-wit:
That certain strip of land bounded on the west
by the easterly line of Miami Beach Drive;
bounded on the south by the southerly line of
24th Street produced eastwardly to the bulkhead
line described and established. by Ordinance
No. 832 of the City of Miami Beach; bounded
on the east by said bulkhead line; bounded on
the north by a line parallel with the southerly
line of Lot 5 of Block 8 of Ocean Front Property
of the Miami Beach Improvement Company, according
to Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 5, at
pages 7 and 8, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, said line extending from the
most northerly point of said Lot 5 to said
bulkhead line.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and uoosting as required ,by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of November A. D.
1949.

No. 905, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
'ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 3rd day of November, A . D. l949, and that said Ordi-
nance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days
in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of
the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, on this the 7th day of December, A. D. 1949.
