Ordinance 866ORDINANCE NO. 866 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 402 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE LOCATIONS WHEREIN THE BUSINESS OF THE SALE OF LIQUOR, AS HEREIN DEFINFT, IVAY BE CONDUCTED; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF AND PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT HEREOF." BE IT ORDAINED BY TRT. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 402 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto, immediately after Section 9- thereof, an additional section to read as follows: "Section 9--B: In "I" District, the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises is prohibited ex- cept from service bars in bona fide restaurants with a seating capacity for six hundred or more patrons and in which the roofed -in floor area wherein food is served to guests contains not less than forty- eight hundred square feet, and in hotels having one hundred or more sleeping rooms, provided that each of said hotel sleeping rooms shall meet the require- ments of Section 5.18.06.01 of Ordinance No. 592 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and provided that the exterior of the hotel in which the business is carried on shall not contain a store front in con- nection with said business and the business so li- censed shall only be entered from within the build- ing." SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 402 of the City of Miami Beach, Vlo- rida, and the map attached thereto and made a Hart there- of, be and the same are hereby amended so as to include in "I" District, as said district is set forth and defined in said ordinance, the following described lands situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Florida, to -wit: Lots 28 to 32, both inclusive, of Block 7, Lots 1 to 16, both inclusive, of :Block 6 Lots 4.5 to 53, both inclusive, of Block 1, all in SECOND OCEANFRONT SUBDIVISION, ac- cording to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 28, at page 28, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; AND ALSO Lots 1 to 12, both inclusive, of Block "C", Lots 7 to 12, both inclusive, of Block "D", Lots 1 to 6, both inclusive, of Block "B", Lots 1 to 6, both inclusive, of Block "A", all in ATLANTIC HEIGHTS, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 9, at page 14, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; AND. ALSO Lots 7 to 12, both inclusive, of Block 11, Lots 7 to 12, both inclusive, of Block 8, Lots 1 to 6, both inclusive, of Block 10, Lots 1 to 6, both inclusive, of Block 9, all in NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 21, at page 54, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; AND ALSO Lots 1 to 7, both inclusive, of Block 9, Lots 1 to 7, both inclusive, of Block 2 Lots 8 to 14, both inclusive, of Block 10, Lots 8 to 14 both inclusive, of Block 1, all in THE TOWNSITE OF H-iARDING, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 34, at page 4, of the Public Records of Dade County, 21orida.
