Ordinance 918 • ORDINANCE NO. 918 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 497 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CLASSIFYING, REGU- LATING AND/OR PROHIBITING CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID CITY AND FIXING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF," BY ADDING THH�NETO A PROVISION PROHIBITING THE USE OF LOUD SPEAKERS IN AIRPLANES OR AIRCRAFT FLYING OVER THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA" . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 497 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be amended by adding thereto, it the end thereof, Sub-section 15-, reading as follows: "15. The use of mechanical loudspeakers or amplifiers in any moving airplane or any other kind of aircraft over any part of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, for advertising or other purposes." SECTION 2: That the welfare of the City is in peril and this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace and the three readings thereof shall be had at one session, and this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage. D. 1950, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
