AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789, EN-
TITLED: "AN ORRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSI-
FICATIONS OF POSITIONS III THE CLASSIFIED SER-
VICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND
PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDI-
NANCE AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUINCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 789 of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, which reads as follows:

.02 Traffic Operations Officer 'Lieut. 420.00 mo.

be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

.02 Traffic Sergeant Sgt. 392.00 mo.
.03 Traffic Director Capt. 462.00 mo."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its
passage and posting as required by law.

• Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me
in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of
which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 18th
day of May, A. D. 1950, and that said Ordinance remained posted for
a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements
of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
