COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZO1 ING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BE_1CH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIL CIL OF Th] CITY OF EIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTIO; 1: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made
a part thereof, be and the same is hereby amended
so as to exclude from the "RE" Multiple -Family District and to
include in the "BAAA" Business District, as said district is
set forth and defined in said ordinance, the following described
land sicuate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, to -wit:
The following portions of Lots 4, 5 and 6 in Block 54
of FI3HER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION of Alton Beach, a subdivision
of Dade County, Florida, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 2, at page 77, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, to -wit:
For a point of beginning commence on Collins Avenue
where the north line of Lot 6 of said Block 54 in-
tersects the West line of Collins Avenue; thence
proceed along the North line of said Lot 6 a distance
of 93.94 feet, more or less; thence at right angles
to the last mentioned line, proceed Southerly a dis-
tance of 126.8 feet, more or less; thence at right
angles to the last mentioned line, proceed Easterly
a distance of 72.565 feet more or less to the 'West
line of Collins Avenue; thence proceed Northeasterly
along the West line of Collins Avenue a distance of
123.588 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th clay of April, A. D.
1948.

I, C. W. TOMLINSON, City Clerk in and for the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 848,
entitled: "AN ORDINANC:, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA", having been passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in
said City on the 7th day of April, A. D. 1948, and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the City
of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on
this the 10th day of May, A. D. 1948.
