Ordinance 968 ORDINANCE NO. 968 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 497 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CLASSIFYING, REGU- LATING AND/OR PROHIBITING CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID CITY AND FIXING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA SECTION 1: That Sub-section 11 of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 497 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows: "ll. The use of mechanical loudspeakers or amplifiers on trucks or other moving vehicles for advertising or other Purposes except where specific license is received from the City Tanager. " be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "11. The utilization of any vehicle on any public street, avenue or alley in the City of Miami Beach, while such vehicle is in motion or is stopped or parked other than at a legal Park- ing space, in or upon which vehicle is func- tioning or being used or operated any mechanical loudspeaker, sound amplifier or other mechanical or musical sound-making device, or any band, orchestra or musical instrument for the purpose of advertising, soliciting or attracting the attention of the public for any purpose what- soever. " SECTION 2: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passa-•e and posting as required by law. PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of March A.
