AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
OF THE CITY OF !`IA'1I BEACH, FLORIDA,
COMMONLY NOWN AS THE "ZONI
"15. Auction sales shall be permitted,
only upon approval and permit of the
City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, in any portion of the "BB"
Business District which lies south
of the northerly line of Eighth Street
in said City of Miami Beach."
SECTION 3: That Section 9 of Ordinance :To. 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
by deleting therefrom Item Number 24, said item reading
as follows:
"24. Auction sales shall be permitted, only
upon approval and Permit of the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach."
SECTION. 4: ghat this ordinance is necessary for conserving the
value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate
use of land throughout the City in accordance with a
comprehensive plan, and it is hereby declared by the City Council to
be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health and safety; that the welfare of the City is in peril, and,
for the protection of the citizens three readings of this ordinance
shall be had in one session, and this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage as provided by law.

"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 'ZONING ORDINANCE CF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA", having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me
in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 12th day of July,
A. D. , 1951 and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of
at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on this the
20th day of August, A. D. 1951.
