Ordinance 987 ORDINANCE NO. 987 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.2 OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA 1950". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 6.2 of "The Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 6.2 SALARY SCHEDULE OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS. There shall be added to the computed pay for each employee on a monthly rate, ten dollars (40.00) for each half month period, less eighty cents ($.80) for each normal work day in that period for which no compensation is paid. The additional compensation thus provided for shall be applicable to all payments of salary and allowances paid for services rendered on and after October let, 1950." SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage and posting as required by law.
