AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE NO. 678 OF THS: CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ENTITTRD: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING
A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATES
THEREOF".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 678 of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows :
"S. Director of the City Con-
vention Bureau Salary per month $ 627.00"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"S. Director of the City Con-
vention Bureau Salary per month $ 880.00"
SECTION 2: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 678 of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows :
"V. If offices of Director of ,
the City Convention Bureau and
Director of News Bureau Division
are combined,
Salary per month $ 880.00"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"V. If offices of Director of
Public Relations Division and
Director of News Bureau Divi-
sion are combined
Salary per month $ 880.00"
SECTION 3: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4+: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its
passage and posting as required by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of whichvas at the door
cf the City Hall in said City on the 1st day of July, A. D. 1953,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
