THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA ENTITLED:

CERTAIN DIVISION$ _.AND OF' Off'
SERVICE AND CLARIFYING ' H; ADMINISTRATIVE
ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY FOR PURPOSES OF
CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL
SERVICE ACT, AND GIVING THE CITY MANAGER
AUTHORITY TO PRESCRIBE FUNCTIONS OF THE
VARIOUS DIVISIONS OF THE CITY SERVICE,
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA. "
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 549 of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows:
"B. PUBLIC WORKS GROUP
5. Engineering Division
6. Sewer Division
7. Street Division
8. Division of Docks
9. Division of Waste Disposal
10. Park Division
11. Division of :Nater Distribution
12. Division of Mechanical Aepairs
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"B. PUBLIC ARKS GROUP
5. Engineering Division
6. Sewer Division
7. Street Division
8. Division of Docks
9. Division of Waste Disposal
10. Park Division
11. Division of Water Distribution
12 . Division of Mechanical Repairs
122. Parking Meter Division
SECTION 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 549 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be andthe same is hereby amended
by adding thereto at the end thereof the following:
"Z. MANAGER OF THE MET 4_1Ru'D PARKING SYSTEM
122. Parking Meter Division"
SECTION 3. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be andthe same are hereby repealed.

OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: 'AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
CREATING CERTAIN DIVISIONS AND OFFICES OF THE CITY SERVICE
AND CLARIFYING THE ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY
FOR PURPOSES OF CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL
SERVICE ACT, AND GIVING THE CITY MANAGER AUTHORITY TO PRESCRIBE
FUNCTIONS OF THE VARIOUS DIVISIONS OF THE CITY SERVICE, PURSUANT

BEACH, FLORIDA' ", having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted
by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 19th day of November, 1953, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accord-
ance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 23rd day of December, A. D. 1953.
