AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
289 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLO-
RIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That Ordinance No . 289 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida and the maps attached there-
to and made a part thereof, be and the same
are hereby amended so as to include in the "Cabana and
Swimming-pool" District and in Area District No . 1, as said
districts are set forth and defined in said ordinance, the
following described land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, to-wit :
The northerly sixteen (16 ' ) feet of that
certain strip of land bounded on the west
by the easterly line of Miami Beach Drive,
as said Miami Beach Drive is shown on the
plat of the Ocean Front property of the
Miami Beach Improvement Company, recorded
in Plat Book 5 at pages 7 and 8 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
bounded on the south by the center line of
23rd Street, produced eastwardly to the
bulkhead line described and established
by Ordinance No . 832 of the City of Miami
Beach; bounded on the east by said bulk-
head line; bounded on the north by the
southerly line of 24th Street, produced
eastwardly to said bulkhead line,
and, so as to include the remainder of said strip of land
in the "Two-Story Cabana District" and in Area District No .
1, as said districts are set forth and defined in said or-
dinance .
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May

Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 1111,
entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 'ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA", having been passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
21st day of May, A. D. 1954, and that said Ordinance remained posted
for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the require-
ments of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on this the
8th day of July, A. D. 1954.
