AN ORDINANCE AMENDING "THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
1950, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto immediately after Section 15.19 thereof, two additional
sections to be known as Sections 15.19.1 and 15.19.2, respectively,
and to read as follows, to -wit:
"Sec. 15.19.1: No licensed vendor shall permit
or allow entrance or admission
to the place of business of such vendor of any
male person costumed, clothed, garbed or appareled
in any manner not appropriate to his sex or other-
wise impersonating a member of the female sex; or
to exhibit or permit such person to exhibit himself
so costumed, clothed, garbed or appareled or other-
wise impersonating a member of the female sex, in
any form of entertainment, play, dialogue, theatrical
production, pantomime, stage or floor show.
"Sec. 15.19.2: It shall be unlawful for any male
person to exhibit or display himself
in the place of business of any licensed vendor
costumed, clothed, garbed or appareled in any manner
not appropriate to his sex or otherwise to impersonate
a member of the female sex, or to participate in any
form of entertainment, play, dialogue, theatrical
production, pantomime, stage or floor show in the
place of business of a licensed vendor while so
costumed, clothed, garbed or appareled or otherwise
impersonating a member of the female sex."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts
herewith be and the same are

I, C. W. TOMLINSON, City Clerk in and for the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that
Ordinance No. 1029, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
'THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950'",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me
in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said
City on the 16th day of October, A. D. 1952, and that
said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the
City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, on this the 19th day of November, A.D. 1952.
