AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 678 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID
TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATES
THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 678 of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"SECTION 1: That a schedule of rates of salaries for the Administrative
Officers of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the
same is hereby established as follows :
A. City Engineer Salary per month $ 880.00
B. City Clerk Salary per month 880,00
C. Shop and Water Superin-
tendent Salary per month 670.00
D, Police Chief Salary per month 721.00
E. Fire Chief Salary per month 645,00
F. Tax Assessor Salary per month 672.00
G. Chief Building Inspector Salary per month 645.00
H. General Recreation Officer Salary per month 565.00
I. Beach Patrol Captain Salary per month 562.00
J. Municipal Judge Salary per month 562,00
K. Associate Municipal Judge Salary per month 295.00
L. Golf Course Manager
(Normandy Isle) Salary per month 540.00
Golf Course Manager
(Bayshore) Salary per month 540.00
M. City Manager Salary per month 1,711.00
N. City Attorney Salary per month 1,045.00
Together with a monthly
allowance to City Attorney
for secretarial assistance
in the sum of 395,00
AND
together with a monthly
allowance to City Attorney
for three assistants in
the sum of 2,135.00
0. Director of Personnel Salary per month 545.00
P. Assistant City Manager Salary per month 695.00

SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect as of October 1st, 1954.

entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 678
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF
SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATES THEREOF", having
been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of October, 1954,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 17th day of November, A. D. 1954.
