Ordinance 1018ORDINANCE NO. 1018 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 992 OF THE CITY OF MIAPD BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING, IM- POSING ALD PRESCRIBING RATES OF FARES TO BE CHARGED, COLLECTED OR RECEIVED FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICE RENDERED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BY MIAMI BEACH RAIL- WAY COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIUS; RE- QUIRING THE PAYMENT TO THE CITY OF SIX PER CENT OF THE GROSS OPERATING REVENUES." RE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 992 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby a- mended to reau as follows: "SECTION 2: That the Miami Beach Railway Company be and it is hereby required to pay to the City of iiami Beach Six (6») per cent of the gross operating; revenues attribu- table to and resulting from the rendering of trans- portation service in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, payments thereof to be made on or before the 1st day of March of each year for the operation during the year ending on the 17th day of February immediately preceding said :March 1st, provided, that from and after February 17, 1952, there shall be credited against said Six (6;) per cent a sum equal to the amount by which the increase in wages of fourteen (1V) cents per hour granted to the employees of said Miami Beach Railway Company on Februc.ry 18, 1952, shall reduce the annual net return of the said Railway Company below Six (64 per cent upon the value of its property used and useful in ren- dering transportation service within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach, Florida." SECTION 2: SECTION 3: 1952. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. TOMLINSON, City Clerk in and for the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 1018, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 992 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: 'AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING, IMPOSING AND PRESCRIBING RATES OF FARES TO BE CHARGED, COLLECTED OR RECEIVED FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICE RENDERED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BY MIAMI BEACH RAILWAY COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS; REQUIRING THE PAYMENT TO THE CITY OF SIX PER CENT OF THE GROSS OPERATING REVENUES'", having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 16th day of April, A. D. 1952, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
